About The Jamaica
Ex-Soldiers Association
The Jamaica Ex -Soldiers Association is a Service Charity organisation that aims to provide the much-needed donations to incredible causes and ex- service individuals. The Association was established in 2009 and has been donating to charities and making a substantial difference to lives in the UK and Jamaica. The work we are particularly proud of includes the residential home for ex-soldiers at the Curphey Home, uniting ex-service members and donating to other charity causes such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Sickle Cell Care and among others. We frequently participate in a diverse range of commemorative events, including Remembrance Day March, Commonwealth Day Parade and The Festival of Remembrance held at The Royal Albert Hall.

How Can You Help
Our Association relies on the support of our devoted members, donors and trustees without whom we would struggle to offer our assistance to veterans who need support. The History of the Jamaica
Ex-Soldiers Association UK
The historical connection between the JESA Project, the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and its Veterans began in 1992 in Canada. Patriotic ex-soldiers of the JDF started to meet informally in Toronto to share their interests and concerns for the less fortunate Veterans particularly in Jamaica.
After about two (2) years the movement was formalised and the first Chapter of JESA was established. JESA CA celebrates its 27th year anniversary this year.
To date, there are Five (5) chapters which are located in Canada, Florida, New York, Houston, Jamaica and the UK. The members of JESA UK chapter first met in 2009, were constituted in 2011 and achieved charitable status in 2014.
